Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 months of relevant Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist experience outside training/externship
• Strong customer service skills and ability to deliver customer-centric solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with typing, internet, and multiple software systems
• Experience working in collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams
• Ability to stay confident and instill trust during specimen collection
• Proven adaptability and quick learning in changing situations

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture and clinical support to patients
• Serve as first point of contact for patients and front desk tasks
• Maintain in-office care standards, labeling and handling of specimens
• Support billing inquiries and scheduling communications
• Operate and navigate the technology suite (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, EMR)
• Assist providers and lab team with clerical tasks and patient follow-ups
• Open/close the office and maintain space cleanliness and organization
• Collaborate with team during huddles and problem solving
