CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a Medical Assistant 2 to be the first contact for patient care and handle both administrative and clinical duties. You will take vital signs, input data into the EMR, perform injections and diagnostic tests, collect specimens, draw blood, and support the care team.

The role requires MA school completion or CMA/RMA certification or 5+ years of experience, CPR certification, and compliance with TB screening.

Formación

• MA school or CMA/RMA certification or 5+ years of experience with provider approval.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification required.
• Will participate in TB screening as part of the role.

Responsabilidades

• Discuss symptoms with patients.
• Input and manage data in the electronic medical records system.
• Take vital signs and administer injections.
• Perform diagnostic tests and collect specimens.
• Draw blood and maintain examination rooms.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses.

Conocimientos

Bilingual English/Spanish

CPT/ICD coding knowledge

CAHPS/HOS patient experience

Value-based care understanding

Educación

MA school or training program

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

High school diploma or equivalent

Herramientas

Phlebotomy experience
