Job summary

Seaton Senior Living in Allentown is seeking a Care/Medication Technician to join our team. The role provides hands-on care, emotional support, and a safe, home-like environment for residents, working within a supportive team.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, assisting with ADLs, documenting changes, managing medications with Six Rights, and coordinating with nurses and Health Care Coordinators.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care Giver responsibilities: monitor designated residents, observe and report changes, respond to call bells, assist with continence management, serve meals, maintain cleanliness, assist with activities of daily living and life enrichment activities, greet visitors and assist residents and staff.
• Medication Tech duties: review service plans, assist/observe medications, document administration, maintain confidentiality, report concerns, restock cart, check packaging, count narcotics, maintain medication room, follow refill process, participate in service plan development, record vital signs, report exposures, perform other duties as assigned.
