Job summary

Discovery Senior Living’s Lehigh Valley community is hiring a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a home-like environment. The role includes medication assistance, documentation, and collaboration with nurses to ensure safety and quality of life for each resident.

Responsibilities cover daily living assistance, medication observance, and participation in care plans, while maintaining cleanliness and respect for residents' dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care Giver: monitor residents, observe and report changes, respond to call bells, assist with continence management, serve meals, maintain rooms, assist daily living activities, engage residents in activities, greet guests and staff, perform resident laundry.

Education

Certified Nurse’s Aid certification

High School diploma/GED

Must be 18 years of age

CPR Certification preferred

First Aid Certification preferred

Previous experience working with seniors preferred
