Job summary

Discovery Senior Living Holdings, LLC is seeking a Care/Medication Technician to join our on-site team. The role provides hands-on care, emotional support and a safe, home-like environment for residents, under the supervision of nursing staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring residents, administering medications as directed, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in resident areas. Prior CNA certification and experience with seniors are highly valued.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and emotional and physical support to residents.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and changes in residents’ conditions.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation, transfers).
• Respond to calls and notify supervisor or Health Care Coordinator as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas, ensure sanitation.
• Assist with meals, tray service, and monitoring appetite when needed.
• Maintain medication procedures under supervision and restock as required.

Education

Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification

High School diploma/GED
