University of North Texas Health at Fort Worth is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide nursing care and clinical support within the Center for Older Adults, part of HSC-Health Systems.

You will work under supervision of a registered nurse, perform clinical procedures, monitor patient conditions, document care in electronic health records, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support preventive services and aging-related health needs.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Texas LVN license and CPR (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications, injections, and vaccines as directed and documents in patient records.
• Observe patients and report changes to clinicians.
• Measure and record vital signs including height, weight, temperature, BP, pulse, and respiration.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist during clinical visits.
• Provide basic nursing care and wound care.
• Assist with patient intake and document health histories in EHRs.
• Support clinical operations by preparing examination rooms and equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support preventive services and health education.
