Job summary

University of North Texas Health at Fort Worth is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide nursing care and clinical support within the Center for Older Adults, part of HSC-Health Systems.

You will work under supervision of a registered nurse, perform clinical procedures, monitor patient conditions, document care in electronic health records, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support preventive services and aging-related health needs.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Texas LVN license and CPR (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

Administers medications, injections, and vaccines as directed and documents in patient records.
Observe patients and report changes to clinicians.
Measure and record vital signs including height, weight, temperature, BP, pulse, and respiration.
Prepare patients for examinations and assist during clinical visits.
Provide basic nursing care and wound care.
Assist with patient intake and document health histories in EHRs.
Support clinical operations by preparing examination rooms and equipment.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to support preventive services and health education.
