• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in applicable state.
• Prefer one year of nursing experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead or direct licensed and non-professional staff in the delivery of direct resident care and support functions.
• Conduct daily nursing functions in accordance with rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility/assisted living communities.
• Complete daily clinical and environmental rounds to evaluate resident care and report significant events.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the health care provider.
• Supervise your nursing unit to ensure staff perform assignments to acceptable nursing standards.
