Zusammenfassung

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Traverse Point team in Traverse City, MI. The LPN will provide licensed care to residents, administer medications, perform treatments, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality resident outcomes.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, vital signs, IV and respiratory care within licensure, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Provides and receives nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Ensures assigned work area is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Directs and supervises day-to-day CNA services for assigned unit to assure care is rendered per standards.
• Provides required resident assessments/observations and interventions, reviewing care plans.
• Takes and records blood pressure and vital signs, administers catheter care, IV therapy to residents as ordered within license, and provides respiratory care.
• Receives and transcribes physician orders to resident charts/MAR, treatment/care plans.
• Prepares and administers medications and performs treatments as ordered by physician.
• Charts nurse’s notes reflecting care and resident response.
• Completes forms on admission, transfer, discharge.
• Ensures environment is free from hazards and addresses safety risks.
• Makes reports/recommendations about shift activities.
• Implements and maintains care plans; may recommend changes to IDT.
