Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Spring Meadows A Villa Center. The LPN provides licensed nursing care and ensures adherence to physician orders, regulatory standards, and care plans.

The role includes medication administration, IV care within license scope, and supervision of CNA staff. Requirements include active LPN license in the state, CPR certification, and preferred LTC experience.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current LPN license to practice in the State.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with regulations.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitary conditions in work areas and patient rooms.
• Directs and supervises CNA services for assigned unit to ensure compliant care.
• Performs resident assessments and reviews care plans for appropriate care.
• Takes vital signs, administers medications, and provides treatments as ordered.
• Transcribes physician orders to charts and MAR as required.
• Completes admission, transfer, and discharge documentation.
• Delivers thorough nursing reports at shift change.
