Job summary

Spring Meadows A Villa Center is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager LPN to oversee daily nursing activities and ensure high-quality care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of each resident's plan of care.

The role involves managing nursing staff, coordinating with administration and therapy, developing care standards, and performing rounds to monitor patient conditions. LPN license and CPR are required, with 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with state license.
• At least 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages nursing staff, scheduling breaks, reassigning employees where needed, and coaching/corrective action as required.
• Meets with administration, medical and nursing staff, therapy and related departments to plan care.
• Develops and maintains care standards and conducts rounds to monitor resident conditions.
• Documents data per Medicare/Medicaid and company policies; maintains clean, sanitary areas.
