Job summary

Gail’s Homecare in Lithonia, GA seeks a compassionate Personal Care Assistant for in-home client support. You’ll help with basic personal hygiene, light domestic tasks, and document progress to support wellbeing.

Requirements include CPR/BLS, First Aid, CNA license, high school diploma, 1 year healthcare experience (3–5 years preferred), reliable English communication, and ability to lift and assist clients. Shifts Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10am–1pm; compensation $15/hour.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required.
• First Aid certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year full-time healthcare experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• Significant home health care experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients.
• Dependable, punctual, and compassionate.
• Willingness to perform both personal care and household tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks.
• Provide compassionate care and document clients' progress.
• Work with clients in their homes as part of a home health care team.
