Job summary

Avenues Home Care in Tennessee provides in-home care to elderly and vulnerable clients. The caregiver helps with daily activities, personal care, medication assistance, meal prep, and companionship, while following the client’s care plan and reporting changes to the supervisor.

The role requires caregivers to be reliable, compassionate, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Shifts offered include full-time, part-time, 8/10/12 hour shifts, PRN, and short shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with reliable caregiving for elderly or disabled individuals.
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes to supervisor.
• Comfort with lifting up to 50 pounds as required in duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living per care plan (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, transferring, eating).
• Assist with medications, housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation, companionship.
• Report daily activity and changes to supervisor; document as required.
