Job summary

Avenues Home Care of Tennessee is hiring caregivers to assist elderly and vulnerable clients in the Northeast Tennessee area from Johnson City. Duties include ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation support, with emphasis on safety and confidentiality.

Caregivers report daily activities through the agency system and follow care plans. A CNA or equivalent experience is preferred; CPR/First Aid is a plus. Flexible shifts available, including 8, 10, and 12 hour options.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills in English and written form.
• Ability to follow verbal and written assignments.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to HIPAA policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as per care plan.
• Assist with medication reminders, housekeeping, laundry, meals, and transportation as needed.
• Report daily activities and any changes to supervisor through agency system.
• Demonstrate safety practices and report hazards or concerns immediately.
