Job summary

Assisted Living Services, Inc is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our Connecticut home care team. We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem roles with flexible scheduling based on your availability across all shifts and days.

Weekend and evening availability is a plus, and bilingual skills are preferred. PCAs provide ADL support, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, and other caregiver services tailored to each client.

Qualifications

Requires CNA, HHA, PCA training or relevant caregiving experience.
Flexible scheduling; weekend/evening availability a plus.
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience in home care or healthcare.

Responsibilities

Provide basic domestic services (meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping).
Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.
Assist with mobility and transfers.
Provide medication reminders.
Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Change bed linens as needed.
Support clients with daily activities based on their individual needs.
Provide a caring, positive presence.
Respond appropriately in emergency situations.
