Assisted Living Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to care for clients at home in Wallingford, CT. This full-time role offers flexible shifts including weekends and various daytime hours, with opportunities to work Sundays-Wednesdays or Thursdays-Saturdays.

Responsibilities include ADL support, companionship, mobility assistance, medication reminders, and diligent documentation to ensure client well-being. Training and PPE provided for safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in home care or healthcare.
• Willing to work Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday; weekend work is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic ADL assistance, meal prep, laundry, and light housework.
• Provide companionship and engage client in conversation.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including bed, wheelchair.
• Remind clients to take medications and monitor wellbeing.
• Document progress in writing, electronically, or verbally.
• Ensure safety and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain client dignity and respect.
