Job summary

Namaste Home Health + Hospice seeks a Personal Care Aide (PCA) / Caregiver to assist clients in their homes in the Longmont area. The role emphasizes compassionate, respectful care aligned with each client’s care plan and state regulations.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, medication reminders, mobility support, transportation, and companionship while maintaining client confidentiality and safety. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service and listening skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to effectively communicate with client and office staff.
• Ability to read and write clear English.
• Able to compute basic mathematics.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.
• Current driver’s license and valid vehicle insurance/registration.
• Must have, or obtain upon hire, CPR and First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nonmedical services to clients in their home and community per care plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living.
• Ensure client safety and security; report unsafe conditions to Supervisor.
• Maintain daily records of activities and observations.
• Communicate regularly with Supervisor and care team; participate in care planning.
• Support with meal planning, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship.
