Job summary

Alliance Home Care is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Caregiver to provide essential support with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship. You will help clients in their homes, ensuring a safe, comfortable living environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy.

Daily tasks include hygiene, mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients.
Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or within a team.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Help with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and maintaining a safe environment.
Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
Assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
Provide medication reminders and support with prescribed exercises.
Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
Monitor changes in health or behavior and report to appropriate personnel.
Respect client confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Adhere to safety and health guidelines for a safe work environment.
