Job summary

Alliance Home Care is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Caregiver to provide essential support to clients in their homes. Primary duties include personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily tasks to promote a safe and comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities include hygiene support, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and monitoring health changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help with mobility, including transfers and ambulation, and ensure a safe environment.
• Prepare and serve meals, following any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organization.
• Provide medication reminders and help with prescribed exercises or therapies.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
• Monitor and report changes in client’s health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Respect and maintain client confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Adhere to all safety and health guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
