Job summary

PurposeCare is hiring compassionate home health workers to provide one-on-one care in patients' homes and communities. You’ll assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and communicate with nurses to ensure safety and comfort.

Flexible shifts and opportunities to become licensed are available, with extensive training and mentoring. Ideal candidates are dependable, patient, and service-driven, with a willingness to obtain certification if needed.

Qualifications

• Active HHA or CNA certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to follow written care instructions and document services.
• Comfortable with one-on-one home care and maintaining client safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises per care plan.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Support medication self-administration through reminders.
• Monitor and report patient condition to supervising nurse.
• Take and record basic vital signs when trained and assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly client environment.
• Travel reliably to patient homes and visits across service area.
• Complete required in-service training, including dementia education.
