Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one personal care in clients' homes across our service area. You'll assist with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and document care per plan.

The role is hands-on, independent, and requires reliability and empathy. Ideal candidates have 6+ months of caregiving experience or willingness to become licensed, with reliable transportation and a commitment to ongoing training and patient safety.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of caregiving or direct patient care experience.
• Willingness to complete competency and skills assessments.
• Ability to follow written care instructions and document services.
• Willingness to complete TB testing, background screening and onboarding.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and ROM exercises per care plan.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to supervising nurse.
• Document care provided according to standards.
