Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington State is seeking Home Care Aides to assist clients in their homes with personal care and household tasks, following individual care plans. Responsibilities include toileting, bathing, dressing, transfers, medication reminders, and mobility support.

Candidates must have at least one year of household management experience, pass a DSHS background check, and meet health and safety requirements such as TB testing and vaccines.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written English communication skills required; bilingual desired (Spanish preferred).
• Must pass background check and health requirements including TB/test vaccines.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical personal care per client care plan.
• Assist with toileting, bathing, dressing, transfers and ambulation.
• Provide transportation and escort to medical appointments and essential errands.
• Conduct housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation as needed.
• Maintain client safety and observe any changes in health and report to supervisor.
