Job summary

PC Behavioral Health seeks a Home Care Aide to deliver compassionate non-medical support to clients with developmental disabilities and seniors in King/Snohomish counties. You will implement care plans, assist with daily living tasks, transportation, meal planning, housekeeping, and provide safety through protective supervision.

Required: 18+ years old, English proficiency, ability to work independently; Mental Health Training preferred; background check in Washington state.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate in English (written and spoken).
• Must be able to work independently.
• Mental Health Training highly preferred.
• Must be physically able to care for clients and assist with mobility.
• Understanding of professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Cares for child/adult with special needs or seniors requiring non-medical support.
• Implements the client’s Plan of Care.
• Assists with daily living tasks: feeding, dressing, personal hygiene, toileting, transferring, and positioning.
• Assist family with housekeeping, shopping, meal planning and preparation; provide transportation as needed.
• Provide protective supervision and ensure safety when client cannot be left alone.
• Follow client living situation guidelines for Community First Choice (CFC) work.
• Provide care under guardian-approved arrangements for respite care.
