Job summary

Cedarhurst of Frankfort is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will perform housekeeping and laundry across resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices, following established policies and schedules.

Reporting to the Maintenance Director, you will restock supplies, report repairs, and collaborate with maintenance to keep the community running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, web platforms, and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, trash removal).
• Clean according to a schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices.
• Collect and launder soiled linens per health and hygiene policies.
• Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry.
• Report supply and equipment needs and restock as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance to report repairs.
• Communicate with residents' families about care and wellbeing.
• Work with management and take initiative, handling conflicts when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
