Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Omaha, NE is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role covers housekeeping and laundry across resident apartments, common areas, and facilities, following established policies and schedules.

Reporting to the Maintenance Director, you will restock supplies, report repairs, and collaborate with maintenance to promote a healthy, welcoming community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and any HR-related systems as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, trash removal.
• Perform cleaning duties to a schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in resident apartments, common areas, restrooms and offices.
• Collect and launder soiled linens and fold, sort, distribute clean laundry.
• Report supply and equipment needs to Supervisor and restock/replenish supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance for repairs noticed during the workday and promote a healthy environment.
