Job summary

Lionstone Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Hospitality Aide to join our team. You will assist with patient-related care and ancillary tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor, focusing on non-hands-on care, patient transport, and administrative duties.

This role emphasizes patient comfort, confidentiality, and teamwork to maintain high-quality care standards across our Ohio facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge residents' and families' concerns and report them to the nurse supervisor.
• Respond to all call lights timely, providing non-hands-on care or referring to appropriate staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide privacy to residents.
• Perform host/hostess duties, including transporting patients, assisting with meal distribution, and distributing personal laundry.
• Clean combs and brushes, deliver ice and water, and answer telephone calls.
• Deliver snacks to patients who do not require assistance in feeding.
• Assist the Activity Director with patient activities and run errands for patients and staff.
