Job summary

St. Henry Care Community is seeking a compassionate Hospitality Aide to join Lionstone Healthcare. You will support patient care under a licensed nurse supervisor, handling non-hands-on tasks and transport, with focus on dignity and respect in a long-term care setting.

You’ll assist with meal distribution, accompany residents, help with activities, and perform light administrative duties while maintaining privacy, safety, and teamwork every day.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge residents' and families' concerns and report them to the nurse supervisor
• Respond to all call lights timely, providing non-hands-on care or referring to appropriate staff
• Maintain confidentiality and provide privacy to residents
• Perform host/hostess duties, including transporting patients, assisting with meal distribution, and distributing personal laundry
• Clean combs and brushes, deliver ice and water, and answer telephone calls
• Deliver snacks to patients who do not require assistance in feeding
• Assist the Activity Director with patient activities and run errands for patients and staff
