Job summary

Lionstone Healthcare at Cottingham Care Community seeks a compassionate Hospitality Aide to support patient care under a licensed nurse supervisor. You will perform non-hands-on tasks, transport patients, and assist with administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge residents' concerns and report them to the nurse supervisor.
• Respond to call lights timely, providing non-hands-on care or referring to appropriate staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide privacy to residents.
• Perform host/hostess duties, including transporting patients, assisting with meal distribution, and distributing personal laundry.
• Clean combs and brushes, deliver ice and water, and answer telephone calls.
• Deliver snacks to patients who do not require assistance in feeding.
• Assist the Activity Director with patient activities and run errands for patients and staff.
