Job summary

Care Initiatives Hospice - Des Moines is seeking a compassionate Clinical Manager - RN to provide leadership and oversee comprehensive hospice care for patients at home, in long-term care communities, or in hospitals. You will meet patients and families where they are most comfortable, delivering care with empathy, dignity, and respect.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and hospice experience, plus leadership or charge nurse experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state(s) of operation.
• Active CPR certification.
• Hospice or palliative care experience.
• At least one year in a leadership/charge nurse role.
• Two years of recent clinical experience in hospice, oncology, home health or public health nursing; hospice experience preferred.
• Home access to the internet.
• Hospice and Palliative RN Certification (CHPN) preferred, or ability to obtain within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hospice care leadership at patients' homes, long-term care communities, or hospitals.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to tailor care plans and ensure compassionate, dignified care.
