Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled, patient-centered care throughout the Davis/Weber area. You will complete hospice nursing visits, assess patients, and educate families while coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes delivering comfort-focused care, maintaining documentation, and making independent clinical decisions within your scope of practice, in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, unencumbered RN license.
• Certification in CPR.
• Prior clinical experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism during stressful times.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt to different clinical settings and environments.

Responsibilities

• Complete hospice nursing visits and comprehensive patient assessments.
• Provide skilled nursing and comfort-focused care.
• Monitor changes in condition and respond to patient needs.
• Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Make independent clinical decisions within scope of practice.
