Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Maintains current unencumbered Florida RN license.
• Preferably 2 years of hospice, homecare, hospital medical-surgical or oncology nursing experience.
• Ability to work after-hours and in crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to census and referrals after hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Provide urgent clinical and psychosocial interventions and pain control.
• Assess patients and families using nursing processes and document findings.
• Collaborate with physicians and the IDG for continuity of care.
• Coordinate with vendors for DME, supplies, and medications after-hours.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
