Job summary

Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing required.
- Current, active and unrestricted NC RN license; official NP certification from NC Board of Nursing.
- Current and unrestricted DEA and Basic Life Support required; computer proficiency.
- Minimum 1 year related experience in hospice/palliative or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive medical care to HPCCR patients.
- Serves as medical resource for HPCCR staff and patients.
- Prescribes systemic and topical therapies including narcotics as appropriate.
- Conducts patient/family meetings to discuss goals of care and prognosis.
- Promotes high quality end-of-life care and benefits of advanced directives.
- Participates in team discussions to optimize care plans and outcomes.
