Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is hiring a CNA Hospice Aide to deliver compassionate, hands-on care for patients in home-based hospice settings.

You will assist with daily living activities, support families, follow care plans, and work with the hospice team to promote comfort, dignity and emotional well-being.

Required: CNA certification, CPR, valid driver’s license; pay ranges from $16.00 to $22.60 per hour for full-time employment; comprehensive benefits offered.

Competenze

• CNA certification required per state requirements.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Mansioni

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient status.
• Assists with daily living activities and promotes comfort and dignity.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding as assigned.
• Performs homemaking and environmental services as assigned.
• Follow care plan written instructions from the nurse.
