Qualifications

- Current state certification as a nurse assistant per state requirements.
- CPR certification is required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provides personal care services to patients.
- Assists with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion.
- Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
- Performs homemaking and environmental tasks as assigned.
- Observes and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
- Under nurse instructions, follows care plans and documents care.
- Assists patients with prescribed exercises per clinician guidance.
- Performs simple urine tests for sugar, ketones, and albumin.
- Other duties as assigned.
