Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in the United States, Texas, Conroe area seeks a compassionate CNA Hospice Aide to provide hands-on care and family support during end-of-life care. You will work with the hospice team to ensure comfort, dignity, and personalized care aligned with the plan of care.

This role offers hourly pay ranging from $14 to $26.35 per hour for full-time employment, with a comprehensive benefits package, equity stock purchase, and 401k options.

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification or registered status as per state requirements.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers, positioning, and activities of daily living.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals; assists with feeding as assigned.
• Performs homemaking and environmental services as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Follow written care instructions from the registered nurse.
• Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist.
• Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
• Other duties as assigned.
