Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a certified nursing assistant to provide compassionate home health and hospice support in local communities. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patients, and document changes under RN supervision, ensuring comfort and safety at home.

The role offers an hourly pay range of $14.00 to $25.10 per hour for full-time employment, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification/registration as per state requirements.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and body mechanics during care.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and other environmental services.
• Observes and documents changes in patient's status; report to primary nurse as needed.
• Follow written instructions for personal care from a registered nurse.
• Assist patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse/therapist.
• Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
• Other duties as assigned.
