UnitedHealth Group through Amedisys Hospice seeks a CNA Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support to their families during end-of-life care. This role focuses on assisting patients with daily living activities while promoting comfort, dignity, and emotional well-being in alignment with the plan of care.

You will work closely with the hospice care team, helping ensure respectful, individualized care and following written instructions from the primary nurse.

Formación

• Current state CNA certification as per Ohio requirements.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics during care and transfers.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and environmental tasks as assigned.
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient status.
• Follows written instructions for personal care from a registered nurse.
• Assist patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist.
• Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
• Other duties as assigned.
