Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, in partnership with Amedisys, is hiring a CNA Hospice Aide for a full-time position stationed in Preston and Mon Counties. You will provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support families during end-of-life care, aligning with each patient’s care plan.

The role requires CNA certification, CPR, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Compensation includes benefits and an hourly wage range of $14.00 to $23.85, with eligibility based on full-time

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA certification per state requirements.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Assists with daily living activities and personal care.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and environmental services as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to nurse.
• Follows care plans written by a registered nurse.
• Assists with prescribed exercises as directed.
• Performs and records simple urine tests as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
