Job summary

Adena Home Health & Hospice in Chillicothe, Ohio is seeking a Hospice Aide (STNA) for a full-time role. You will provide personal care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor patients, and communicate changes to the supervising nurse.

Qualifications

• Meets state training requirements for competency evaluation or state licensure program.
• One year of hospice care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
• Duties may require physical endurance and ability to meet demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including personal hygiene, bathing, oral care, and basic comfort measures.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as directed by supervising nurse.
• Communicate patient needs and changes to the supervising nurse or caregiver.
• Ensure patient safety and proper use of equipment, following hospice policies.
• Attend in-service trainings and agency meetings as required.
