Adena Home Health & Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide to deliver high-quality personal care to patients in a compassionate, family-centered environment. You will support daily activities, communicate patient needs to nurses, and help promote comfort in collaboration with the Hospice team.

The role requires meeting state training requirements, and experience in hospice care is preferred. A valid driver's license, reliability, and the ability to handle physical tasks are essential.

Formación

• Meets state training requirements or has completed a state-approved competency program.
• One year of hospice care experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
• Capable of all physical demands.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care including baths, oral hygiene, and assisting with daily activities as assigned.
• Assist in ambulation and simple therapeutic activities as directed by the supervising nurse.
• Communicate patient condition changes to the supervisor or primary nurse.
• Maintain patient safety and observe proper use of equipment.
• Follow organizational policies and procedures for documentation and care.
• Attend in-service trainings and mandatory agency meetings.
