Job summary

Luminary Hospice seeks a dedicated Hospice Aide to support patients in their end-of-life journey under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will perform personal care, monitor comfort, and document observations to ensure quality, compassionate care in the patient’s home or facility.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, communicating with families, and maintaining safety and dignity through all care tasks.

Qualifications

• Empathy and compassion for patients and families.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Reliable transportation and CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks and attend to patient requests promptly.
• Communicate with patients and families with confidentiality and respect.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Assist with dressing, feeding, and hygiene needs as assigned.
• Record vital signs and observations for the Case Manager's review.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion as directed.
