Care Initiatives Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide to provide comprehensive end-of-life care to patients across home, long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings. You will meet patients and families where they are, delivering dignity, comfort, and support with kindness.

You’ll assist with daily living activities, offer emotional support, collaborate with families and the healthcare team, and promote meaningful activities while following infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience as Hospice Aide/Home Health Aide/CNA in last 24 months preferred.
• Hospice or palliative care experience preferred.
• Active CPR certification required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto liability insurance and be able to travel regionally.
• Ability to obtain Hospice Nursing Assistant Certification (CHPN) within 24 months.

Responsabilités

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.
