Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in Idaho seeks a dedicated Hospice Nursing Aide to assist with personal care for patients, including bathing, grooming, and wound care, while supporting families.

You will work under RN supervision, follow care plans, and ensure clean, safe environments. Requirements include CNA or equivalent, valid driver license, reliable transportation, CPR, and tech skills.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following: 1) 1 year direct client care in hospital or nursing facility; 2) 1 year direct client care in home health or hospice within last five years.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• Education and experience, state specific: varies by state.
• May demonstrate willingness to learn required skills in lieu of existing tech skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients, including bedding, bathing, dressing and hygiene.
• Support families by instructing them on basic health-care routines and progression updates.
• Consult regularly with supervising RNs to align care with patient needs and progress.
