Job summary

Guardian Angel Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide to support patients and families in homes and healthcare facilities. The role emphasizes dignity, comfort, and thoughtful, person-centered care.

Under the supervision of the RN Case Manager, you will assist with bathing, grooming, ADLs, transfers, and emotional support, while maintaining professional boundaries and safety.

Qualifications

• Current CNA or HHA certification in Indiana.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to participate in on-call rotation.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, skin and nail care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote dignity, safety and comfort.
• Report changes in patients’ condition to the RN Case Manager and care team.
• Assist with transfers and mobility using hoyer lifts, gait belts, wheelchairs, and other devices.
