Choice Hospice, Inc. is seeking a filled Hospice Aide to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in patients' homes across Corpus Christi, TX. You will support transfers, nutrition, hygiene and safety while documenting care and reporting changes to the supervisor.

The role emphasizes compassionate communication with patients and families, adherence to infection control, and collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality hospice services.

Competenze

• Current CNA/HHA and LTC certifications.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Valid Auto Insurance.
• CPR Certification.
• HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide direct patient care to patients under direction of the RN and according to the Aid Plan of Care.
• Assist with safe transfers and ambulation per agency policy.
• Report changes and document pertinent information to ensure continuity of care.
• Practice infection control; provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
• Promote respectful communication with patient/family and staff.
• Support privacy, dignity and property of patients.
• Assist with nutrition and adequate fluid intake for patients.
• Contribute to efficient operation and time management within the agency.
• Perform treatments and procedures per agency policy.
• Support the agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
