Job summary

Choice Health at Home seeks a Hospice Aide to join its Corpus Christi team in a full-time capacity. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision in patients' homes and help with transfers, hygiene, and maintaining a comfortable environment.

The ideal candidate holds CNA/HHA and LTC certifications, CPR, a valid driver's license and auto insurance, and prefers HomeCare HomeBase experience to support coordinated care. Join a compassionate team delivering essential hospice services.

Qualifications

• CNA/HHA and LTC certifications are required.
• CPR certification is required or preferred.
• Driver's license is required and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN direction and according to the Plan of Care.
• Assist with safe transfers and ambulation per agency policy.
• Report changes and document care to ensure continuity of care.
• Practice infection control and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Promote respectful communication with patient, family and staff.
• Assist with nutrition and fluid intake as prescribed.
• Demonstrate time management and support agency operations.
• Perform treatments and procedures per policy.
• Uphold the agency philosophy and policies.
