Job summary

Infinity Hospice Care LLC seeks a compassionate Hospice Aide to deliver in-home personal healthcare under RN supervision. You will support patients in their residence, help with transfers, maintain a clean and safe environment, and collaborate with families to meet care goals.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and adherence to infection control; on-call and after-hours coverage may be required, with travel to patient homes as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred; completion of an approved aide training or CNA program.
• At least one year experience as Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Ability to read, write and verbally report clinical information.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with safe transfers and ambulation per Hospice policy.
• Report changes and document care rendered for continuity of care.
• Maintain infection control and a clean, safe environment.
• Communicate respectfully with patients, families and staff.
• Complete required paperwork; meet productivity standards.
• Provide on-call/after-hours coverage as assigned.
