Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Hospice Aide / CNA in Wesley Chapel, FL. The role supports patients at home or in facilities, with a standard Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

schedule. You will provide compassionate, hands-on care under the direction of nursing staff, ensuring comfort and dignity for patients at end of life. Qualified candidates are state-certified CNAs with CPR, registry in good standing, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Certified nursing assistant certification required
• CPR certification required for direct patient care
• Must be listed on the state aide registry
• Requires a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on hospice care including assistance with personal hygiene, repositioning, and mobility support (up to 200 lbs with assistance)
• Support patients in homes or care facilities through movement and activity to ensure dignified end-of-life care
• Monitor comfort levels, respond to needs, and assist with daily living activities while maintaining safety and dignity
• Work in home and facility environments, upholding infection control and safety protocols
