Job summary

Community Hospice and Palliative Care seeks an experienced Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on personal care for terminally ill patients. You will support comfort, dignity, and safety per the plan of care, assist with mobility, and engage with family caregivers.

The role requires CNA licensure in Florida, CPR/BLS, and transportation. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and across different care sites is expected, with ongoing documentation and teamwork."

Qualifications

• CNA license in Florida is required or preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in accordance with the plan of care and hospice regulations.
• Assist with patient ambulation and mobility.
• Perform basic procedures as directed by licensed clinicians.
• Document accurately and timely per policy.
• Educate families on patient care techniques and safety.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and participate in team meetings.
• Work across care sites and on weekends/holidays as needed.
