Job summary

AccentCare Inc. is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide / CNA in Largo, MD, with full-time daytime shifts.

You will provide compassionate in-home or facility-based hospice care, assisting with personal hygiene, mobility and daily living needs while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Qualified candidates hold state CNA certification (and CPR where required), are registered with the state aide registry, and have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse’s aide with required training and passing score on competency exam.
• CPR certification required for direct patient care where applicable.
• Must be listed on the state aide registry with a clear record.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on hospice care including personal hygiene and mobility support.
• Assist patients in homes or facilities with daily living and dignity.
• Monitor comfort, respond to needs, and ensure patient safety in care activities.
• Work in home or facility settings while maintaining infection control and safety protocols.
