Job summary

AccentCare Inc. is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide/CNA for a full-time, on-site role. You will provide compassionate, hands-on care in patients' homes or facilities, assisting with hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities to ensure comfort and dignity at end-of-life.

Qualified candidates are state-certified CNAs with required training, CPR where applicable, and a valid driver’s license. A reliable vehicle is also required. Training and benefits accompany the opportunity.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse’s aide with required training and competency exam (score 85%+).
• CPR certification required for direct patient care in specified states.
• Must be listed on the state aide registry with a clean record.
• Requires a reliable vehicle and valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on hospice care including personal hygiene, repositioning, and mobility support (up to 200 lbs with assistance).
• Assist patients in homes or facilities with daily activities and mobility to ensure dignified end-of-life care.
• Monitor comfort, respond to needs, and maintain safety and patient dignity.
• Work in home and facility settings, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
